The money transfers conducted via MOPS system of MOSOBLBANK and payment system of AziyaEkspress of Aziya-Invest Bank. The sides agreed to promote services under their own brands MOPS and AziyaExpress respectively.

The commission fee is set at 1.4% from transfer sum. The transfer is conducted immediately. The transactions carried out in US dollars and euros.

Elena Spirina, head of MOPS system, said that two banks successfully completed integration of their system within a year. This work helped to carry out money transfers between Uzbekistan and Russia. She said that remittances can be sent from any 600 offices of MOSOBLBANK in Russia and via offices of eight banks in Uzbekistan.

According to the UN, Russia is one of the four largest counties on the volume of money transfers. The volume of money transfers of Russia with the CIS exceeded US$22.5 billion and about US$6.2 billion fell to share of transactions to and from Uzbekistan.

Timur Abdukhaharov, director of business management department of Aziya-Invest Bank, expressed hope that the project will be successful. He said that National Bank and Asaka Bank are among shareholders of Aziya-Invest Bank and currently eight banks in Uzbekistan offer AziyaExpress services in Uzbekistan with over 600 offices across the country.
