Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In the first two months of 2025, over one million Uzbek citizens traveled abroad for tourism purposes, according to data from the National Statistics Committee.

The total number of outbound travelers reached 1,032,200, marking an increase of 182,200 people, or 21.4%, compared to the same period last year.

The majority of Uzbek tourists visited neighboring countries, including Kyrgyzstan (422,572 people), Tajikistan (193,348), and Kazakhstan (154,716). A significant number also traveled to Saudi Arabia (81,173), Russia (48,029), Türkiye (33,039), the UAE (31,787), Egypt (11,078), Thailand (10,803), and Vietnam (7,876). An additional 37,740 people visited other destinations.
