Moody’s Investors Service Ltd. assigned its first rating to Uzbekinvest in January 2009 and affirmed the ratings in following years.

The press service of Uzbekinvest said that strong sides of Uzbekinvest, according to analysts of Moody’s, are high level of capitalization to risks, existence of the government as founder like Ministry of Finance of Uzbekistan and key role as export-import insurance company, as well as cooperation with AIG, which provides underwriting and other insurance expertise.

The press service of Uzbekinvets said that affirmation of rating proves of openness of the company and its intention to enter international re-insurance markets.

It is worth to mention that Uzbekinvest is the first and currently only insurance company of Uzbekistan, which received international rating from Moody’s.
