Mongolian company TML invests in the leather and footwear industry of Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Chairman of the Uzcharmsanoat association Fakhriddin Boboev held a meeting with representatives of the TML company (Mongolia). The topics of conversation were the expansion of bilateral cooperation and attracting investment from companies in the leather and footwear industry of our country, the press service of Uzcharmsanoat said in a statement.

The leadership of the Association informed foreign guests about the reforms carried out in the leather and footwear industry of Uzbekistan in recent years, the production, investment, and export indicators of the industry achieved during this time. Information was also provided on the conditions, benefits and preferences provided by the state to domestic and foreign investors.

During the dialogue, the Mongolian side noted the favorable investment environment created today for foreign companies in Uzbekistan, and the support of the government, which serve to expand the flow of foreign investment. The company is interested in implementing joint projects in the leather and footwear industry and exporting finished leather products to Mongolia.

At the meeting, issues related to the establishment of export-import relations were discussed in detail. It was decided to organize negotiations with our local enterprises on a systematic basis.

TML, founded in 2008, is engaged in the processing of plastic containers and the production of new types of products from them. Today, the company is implementing investment projects in four countries, with Uzbekistan actively becoming the fifth. A representative office of the company was opened in our country in September 2023, which enabled the company to develop in our market in various industries.
