New tariffs will be effective from 1 July 2010 to 31 December 2010 and the customers can send money to Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Moldavia, Russia and Israel on decreased tariffs.
Peter Gnatyuk, regional director of MoneyGram in Russia, CIS and Israel, said: “Our low tariffs will allow senders of remittances, which did not use MoneyGram services, to try our convenient, reliable and secure services. For our current clients, new prices will make MoneyGram service to become more attractive.”
The company said that MoneyGram customers can send US$100 at the fee of US$2.5, US$300 for US$7.5, while the maximal payment at new prices will be US$125 at the remittance volume of US$5,000.
