The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan sad that Ambassador handed over credentials, which were addressed to the President of Uzbekistan.

During the meeting, the sides discussed issues of deepening inter-governmental relations, including strengthening of mutual beneficial cooperation in trade-economic sector, which has positive dynamics.

The sides considered perspective directions of cooperation in cultural-humanitarian sector. Moldavian Ambassador praised international symposium "National model of protection of maternal and child health in Uzbekistan: Healthy mother – healthy child", in which Deputy Health Minister of Moldova George Turkanu.

Ion Stavila shared with its impressions of held negotiations at Oliy Majlis and Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan within the visit.

Envoy also positively rated reforms in Uzbekistan. He said: “This is not my first my visit to Uzbekistan as I was here in 2002. During this time, Tashkent changed and new buildings were constructed.”

During the meeting, the sides exchanged opinion on other issues of the Uzbek-Moldavian cooperation.
