According to the presidential resolution “On forecast of main macroeconomic figures and parameters of the state budget of Uzbekistan for 2012”, the mobile operators will pay 400 soums a month per subscriber.

At the same time, 90% of these funds will be directed to the State Budget of Uzbekistan and other 10% to the Uzbek Agency for Communication and Information with further direction to financing investment programme.

As reported earlier, all three largest mobile communication operators – MTS Uzbekistan, UCell and Beeline – announced about increasing their tariffs for mobile services from January 2012.
