Mobile operators are fined for deteriorating network quality indicators
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- State Inspectorate for Supervision in the Sphere of Communications, Informatization and Telecommunications Technologies fined mobile operators for deteriorating network quality indicators.

The Inspectorate said that it analyzes monthly data of operators and quality indicators on operation of the mobile communication network “to protect the rights of mobile consumers and ensure the quality of provided services”.

According to the Inspectorate, the results of the analysis showed that all operators deteriorated in such indicators of the quality of the mobile network as interruptions in work of transmitters of radio communication due to the fault of the enterprise, number of unsuccessful connections, number of disconnections, established connections not on the initiative of the subscriber, number of unsuccessful internet connections, and number of disconnections, established by Internet connections not on the initiative of the subscriber.

Based on the results of the analysis and complaints on operation of the mobile network, the Inspectorate fined the mobile operators. The amount of fines was not disclosed.

In order to ensure compliance with the terms of the license agreements and protect the rights of consumers of mobile communication services, the Inspectorate issued all relevant instructions to all mobile operators.
