Newly-appointed coach Amet Memet got a chance to test his charges ahead of the hectic season during the camp where they won two, drew one and lost a friendly game.

The 2008 AFC Champions League semi-finalists were held goalless by Russia’s FC Moscow but recorded two consecutive victories beating Ukrainian clubs Zarya 1-0 and FC Lvov 2-0. Anvar Gafurov was on target against Zarya while their player-cum-technical advisor Rivaldo and Viktor Karpenko scored against Lvov.

Karpenko was again on the target against Russian side Kuban in the final match but it was not enough as they lost 3-1.
