Mirziyoyev to Hold Official Events in Tashkent

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will take part in a series of official events in Tashkent on 22 May, including award ceremonies for winners of the “Quality State Governance” programme and the launch of the National Reading Movement.

According to the agenda, the head of state will also hold a meeting with a delegation from the United Arab Emirates led by UAE Minister of Cabinet Affairs Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Gergawi.

In the second half of the day, the president will attend an official ceremony to see off Uzbekistan’s national football team ahead of the FIFA World Cup.
