He said that Mirjalal Kasimov will keep the post of Uzbekistan national head coach. But there will be changes in coaches team as it is planned to attract foreign specialists as assistant to Kasimov, he added.

Speaking about performance of Uzbekistan at AFC Asian Cup, Mirjalal Kasimov said that Uzbekistan wanted to show good performance, but the team lost to South Korea in quarterfinals. He noted that Uzbekistan looked good in the match, but could not convert its chances to goals.

He said that he cannot blame players and expressed apology to the fans of Uzbekistan. He underlined that team has many young players and AFC Asian Cup will be useful for them.
