Mirjalal Kasimov names squad for Jordan match
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan head coach Mirjalal Kasimov named a squad for friendly match against Jordan, which will be held in Tashkent on 4 September 2014, the press service of Uzbekistan Football Federation said.

Kasimov said that he invited 22 players to the match against Jordan, but Pavel Smolyachenko was injured and left the team.

Mirjalal Kasimov said that Pavel Smolyachenko will not be able to participate in Jordan match, but others will continue to prepare to the match. This will be last stage of preparation to the Asian Games in Incheon, he said.

According to the rules of the Asian Games, the players at the age of under 23 will participate in the tournament. The teams can register three players over the age of 23.

The Asian Games in Incheon will be held from 14 September to 3 October.
