The UFF head said that the coaches should determine squad and there should be no pressure on coaches on team selection. He said that the federation will not interfere to work of coaches as it has no such rights. But, if there are facts of protectionism, the federation will not silent, he added.

Usmanov said that the best players should play in national teams, as they are teams of people.

He said that the federation will not allow to any player to play in national team because they are friends or relatives of some people. If the head coaches and their team face pressure on this issues, the federation will adopt necessary measures to prevent this, Usmanov said.

According to the UFF, the federation will develop new proposal on candidates to national teams and it will have measures against fighting protectionism. The persons, who violated these measures, will be suspended from football activities.
