Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Deputy Minister of Transport Jasurbek Choriyev held a meeting with a delegation led by Heinrich Kerstgens, Special Representative for Projects at the German company Rhenus Group.

During the discussions, the results of their joint efforts to develop intermodal transport infrastructure were reviewed, with a particular focus on the implementation of the project to build a modern cargo terminal in Andijan Region.

The parties also exchanged views on the prospects of cross-border cargo transportation between Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan, as well as the potential integration of the Andijan logistics terminal into the new railway line project connecting Kashgar, Jalal-Abad, and Osh.
