This decision was adopted in accordance with the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers “On measures to implement the Law of Uzbekistan dated 22 May 2015 “On amendments and additions to the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On electronic commerce”.

Ministry of Economy of Uzbekistan was entrusted to ensure effective implementation of mandated powers of the specially authorized state body in the field of e-commerce in accordance with the Law of Uzbekistan “On electronic commerce” and the resolution.

The Ministry together with the Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations, Investments and Trade, Central Bank, Ministry for Development of Information Technologies and Communications of Uzbekistan and other interested ministries and departments was entrusted to develop and submit in the established order of the concept on further development of e-commerce in Uzbekistan to the Cabinet of Ministers in the two months.
