Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 5 March, the Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade of Uzbekistan Laziz Kudratov met with a delegation of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) led by Stephen Thomsen, head of the investment department.

During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for strengthening cooperation in the field of improving legislation in the field of investment.

The parties expressed satisfaction with the start of the implementation of the new project “Roadmap for Sustainable Investment Policy Reform” (RSIPR) for Uzbekistan.

The project will be based on the OECD Investment Policy Reviews, which have been successfully used in more than 30 countries to assess the investment climate and develop programs to improve it.
