Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov expressed deep sorrow over the tragic helicopter crash in Iran.

On 19 May, a helicopter carrying Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi crashed in the north-west of the country. The helicopter crash killed Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian and other officials.

“We are deeply saddened to learn of the fatal plane crash of a helicopter carrying Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, my dear brother Hossein Amir Abdollahian and other Iranian government officials,” Saidov said.

Bakhtiyor Saidov, on behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, expressed his deepest condolences to the relatives of the victims and the entire people of Iran.
