Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 23 November, a seminar-training session was held in Tashkent for over 700 employees of Uzbekistan's Ministry of Investments, Industry, and Trade (MIIT) from regional offices. The event was attended by Deputy Prime Minister Jamshid Khodjayev and Minister Laziz Kudratov.
The training focused on improving efficiency in investment, trade, and international cooperation. Participants explored best practices for attracting investments, fostering trade relations, and collaborating with international partners. The session provided step-by-step guidance on drafting and monitoring investment agreements and introduced mechanisms for investment attraction based on regional potential and competitive advantages.
Key issues discussed included resolving investor challenges related to public services, business protection, infrastructure, and resource availability. Special attention was given to increasing exports to foreign markets.
Minister Laziz Kudratov summarized the outcomes of the training, suggesting innovative approaches and issuing specific directives to improve the performance of MIIT and its regional branches.
