Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In Hangzhou, the delegation of the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan held negotiations with representatives of Alibaba Group.

During the meeting, the parties agreed to launch the Alibaba Export Accelerator – Uzbekistan program, which will cover 100 Uzbek companies. The agreement also includes opportunities for direct sales of Uzbek products through the Aliexpress, Tmall, and Taobao marketplaces.

Additionally, an agreement was reached with JD.com to create an online “Made in Uzbekistan” pavilion and to organize product deliveries under the B2B2C format through logistics hubs in China.

As part of the visit, the Uzbek delegation also participated in the 8th meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Working Group on E-Commerce.

The Uzbek side presented a set of initiatives aimed at deepening digital transformation, expanding export potential via e-commerce platforms, and promoting inclusive growth through regional cooperation. These proposals received broad support and endorsement from SCO member states.
