According to the Ministry, the parties exchanged views on further plans of Microsoft to expand activities in Uzbekistan in the field of information and communication technologies.

The parties noted development of IT education, innovations, cloud technologies, promotion of outsourcing of IT services, etc., as promising areas of cooperation in the ICT field.

Special attention was paid to interaction in the field of cybersecurity and intellectual property rights.

At the end of the meeting, the sides expressed mutual interest in continuing their joint work and consolidating reached agreements with the conclusion of the Memorandum of Understanding.
