Microsoft Corporation becomes General Sponsor of ICT Summit
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Microsoft Corporation, a leading producer of software and innovation, became the General Sponsor of National ICT Summit, which is held within the ICT Week Infocom-2010 in Tashkent.

Annually over 400 delegates gather to the ICT summit, including ICT market experts, state official, representatives of public and international organizations, local and foreign IT companies.

Microsoft, supporting ICT Summit and active participant of the event, supports wide-scale initiatives in ICT sphere and implementation of national ICT programmes, as well as development of software market.

Microsoft will be represented by Andrei Vostrikov, head of work with partnership and distribution in Central Asia, Aleksander Shapalov, export on information infrastructure of the Strategic Technology Department, Oleg Kuzmin, manager on customer care, Anton Mamichev, export on MicrosoftLive @Edu. The delegation is headed by Tatyana Telegina, manager on business development in Central Asia.

Tatyana Telegina said that the company underlines with huge satisfaction that ICT Summit 2010 becomes significant event not only in Uzbekistan, but all Central Asian region. She added that organization of international event shows huge attention of the government of Uzbekistan for implementation of strategic priorities of national programmes on computerization development for all industries of economy, social sphere and governance.

She underlined that Microsoft is ready to do all possible for assisting long-term economic and social well-being of Uzbekistan in formation of information society.

Microsoft delegation will present two reports, which pay attention to information security, protection of state and commercial network with Forefront Treat Management Gateway 2010, etc.
