Microcredit Bank will direct 42 billion soums, allocated by Uzbek President Islam Karimov withhis resolution on 12 July 2007, to increase its charter capital.
President Karimov signed a resolution "On measures for further increase of capitalization of banks and stir up their participants in investment processes in modernization of economy". The document allocated 42 billion soums to Microcredit Bank to finance production of goods.
The bank said it will direct 42 billion soums to increase its authorized capital to 75 billion soums.
The bank said it directed 33.7 billion soums to finance industry in first six months of 2007. It added that 2.3 billion soums were directed to leasing operations.
