Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) —  The Chairwoman of the Art and Culture Development Foundation of Uzbekistan, Gayane Umerova, led a delegation at the Al Burda Award 2024 ceremony in Abu Dhabi.

During the event, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the Ministry of Culture of the UAE and the Foundation. The agreement aims to foster cultural exchange, support traditional crafts, and implement joint educational programs, including internships and art residencies.

Special attention was given to the Al-Burda grant program for the preservation of Islamic heritage.

Plans are in place for joint participation in international cultural projects, including the Bukhara Biennale.
