Members of the Hungarian delegation visits a poultry farm in Tashkent region

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A delegation of Hungary headed by Attila Czanyi, Executive Director of the Bonofarm Group, is visiting Uzbekistan.

On 7 February, members of the delegation visited the poultry farm of Saxovat-broyler LLC, the main activity of which is the production and sale of poultry meat. It opened in 2016 and covers an area of 55 hectares.

“We have workshops where chickens are raised, feed is prepared, and products are processed. Eggs are also produced here, they are incubated in the incubator shop. After hatching, the chicks are fed immediately. They are grown for 37 days, then they are slaughtered, a full cycle of meat processing is carried out according to approved standards, and then they are packaged and prepared for sale,” said Mirolim Komilov, Production Director of Saxovat-broyler LLC.

Today, the poultry farm employs 700 people. 70-80% of products are supplied to the domestic market. Export to Afghanistan, Kazakhstan and Tajikistan has been established. There are plans to master the market of China and a number of other countries.

“The main purpose of our visit is to get acquainted with the production of poultry meat, the technology of growing chickens, and the retail market. For us, issues related to the further development of the industry and investments are also important. We were surprised that the markets and products here are very similar to those in Hungary. This is the second facility we visit. We see good potential for growth here, by improving some processes, we can make the entire production chain more efficient,” says Attila Canyi, Executive Director of the Bonofarm Group.

Bonofarm Group was founded in 2009. It is one of the leading companies in Hungary in the field of crop production, animal husbandry, winemaking, production of feed and meat and dairy products.

The group consists of 5 agricultural and 5 food industry enterprises (including strategic partners). Currently, "Bonofarm Group" has 8 thousand 400 specialists. In 2022, the company’s annual revenue was 1.4 billion euros.

The guests were also shown one of the main sights of the capital - the Khazrati Imam complex.

The visit of the delegation from Hungary continues.
