Members of the Caspian Energy Club are interested in cooperation with Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 24 November this year, a meeting was held at the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade with a delegation of entrepreneurs - members of the Caspian Energy Club, headed by its chairman Telman Aliyev.

Caspian Energy Club is a large regional organization that unites more than 5,000 companies and organizations from 50 countries of the world operating in the states of the Caspian-Black Sea and Baltic regions. Official representations operate in Azerbaijan, Georgia and Kazakhstan.

The prospects for establishing bilateral cooperation were discussed, bearing in mind the joint implementation of investment projects in the information and communication sphere, pharmaceutical and textile industries. 

The Azerbaijani side was presented with favorable conditions created in our country for foreign investors and expressed readiness to provide comprehensive support to their activities. An agreement was reached to hold regular conferences between the Caspian Energy Club and the Agency for Attracting Foreign Investments of Uzbekistan, as well as to organize a visit of a delegation of representatives of IT companies and manufacturers of textile products from Azerbaijan to study the implementation of joint projects.

Issues of establishing information cooperation were discussed. In particular, an agreement was reached on the wide coverage of investment opportunities created in Uzbekistan in the Caspian Energy magazine, presented in 19 countries of the world with a circulation of 50-70 thousand copies.

As a result of the meeting, mutual interest was expressed in deepening bilateral cooperation and an agreement was reached on opening a Caspian Energy office in Tashkent in connection with the growing interest of the region’s business circles in establishing business in Uzbekistan.
