Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Minister of Economy and Finance Jamshid Kuchkarov held a meeting with Tian Ye, the CEO of Singaporean company Indacom Eco.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the reforms implemented in Uzbekistan in recent years, particularly focusing on the transition to a green economy and emerging projects utilizing renewable energy sources. They explored issues related to climate change mitigation, reduction of carbon dioxide emissions, and the implementation of new joint projects leveraging Indacom Eco’s expertise and modern technologies, as well as the execution of various social projects.
The company expressed readiness to support the implementation of Uzbekistan’s national project "Yashil Makon" (Green Space), aimed at expanding forested areas in the country. Additionally, Indacom Eco proposed cooperation on initiatives aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions in Uzbekistan.
At the conclusion of the negotiations, the parties agreed to develop and expand mutually beneficial cooperation.
