Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – The Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Innovation of Uzbekistan, Kongratbay Sharipov, met with the Minister of Science and Higher Education of Kazakhstan, Sayasat Nurbek.

The parties discussed the further expansion of cooperation in higher education and science between the two countries.

The meeting included an exchange of views on supporting the activities of the newly established branch of the South Kazakhstan University named after Mukhtar Auezov in Chirchik, Tashkent region, and the branch of the National Research University "Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers," established on the basis of the Kazakh National Agrarian University in Almaty.

Additionally, the organization of joint scientific project competitions in areas of mutual interest was comprehensively discussed during the meeting.
