Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – On 31 July 2024, a meeting took place at the Ministry of Mining and Geology of the Republic of Uzbekistan with a delegation headed by Lee Jong-kook, Executive Vice President of the Korean Foundation and Executive Director of the Korea-Central Asia Cooperation Forum.

During the meeting, there was an exchange of views on key areas of bilateral cooperation, including projects in mining and geology, the extraction and processing of critical minerals, the production of high-value-added products, education, and scientific research.

The ministry representatives presented their work on projects at the Uzbek Technological Metals Plant, the University of Geological Sciences, and various international projects.
