Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Medalists of the Asian Games, which took place in Indonesia, were awarded at National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan.

Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Adbulla Aripoc and other officials took part in the awarding ceremony.

During the event, Uzbek athletes received US$5,000 prize money for gold medal, US$3,000 for silver medal and US$2,000 for bronze medal.

At the same time, the coaches of medalists received US$2,500 for gold medal, US$1,500 for silver medal and US$1,000 for bronze medal.

Uzbekistan won 70 medals of the Asian Games, including 21 gold, 24 silver and 25 bronze medals. This is the best result of Uzbekistan at the Asian Games.

Prime Minister wished success in future tournaments and Olympic Games in Tokyo.
