Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has signed a decree titled "On Additional Measures for the Development of Hockey."
According to the document, key directions for the development of hockey will include creating a sports reserve for national teams and clubs, as well as implementing a digital system for selecting talented athletes.
Starting in 2025, it is planned to hold annual seminars and training sessions involving international hockey organizations and foreign specialists, as well as scientific and practical conferences.
Additionally, measures will be taken to organize internships for students studying in the bachelor’s program "Sports Activities" (hockey) at the sports facilities of hockey clubs.
The profit tax for the Hockey Federation of Uzbekistan, hockey clubs, and private educational institutions in the sports sector will be reduced by 50% for a period of three years.
Legal entities financing the activities of the hockey federation, clubs, and educational institutions will be able to deduct the amount of charitable donations when calculating the profit tax.
