Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Presidential Resolution “On measures to improve the quality of prevention and treatment of allergic diseases” was adopted.

In order to further improve the system for the prevention of allergic diseases, the following is provided:

strengthening control over epidemiological indicators of allergic diseases starting from primary care, as well as the introduction of targeted screening examinations.

From 1 January 2024, a system of free provision of inhaled glucocorticosteroid drugs to patients suffering from allergic and immunological diseases included in the “Unified Register of Social Protection” will be introduced.

From 2024:

Mass and selective screening examinations will be carried out in areas with high rates of allergic diseases (including seasonal allergies) at least once a year;

The types of high-tech diagnostics and treatment in the areas of allergology and clinical immunology in the regions are subject to a gradual increase from 10 to 20.

From 1 January 2024, the Republican Scientific and Specialized Allergological Center will be transformed into the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center for Allergology and Clinical Immunology.

The Center provides specialized and emergency medical care for allergic diseases to the population of Tashkent.

From 2024, a system will be introduced providing:

conducting a study of the composition and scale of seasonal distribution of aeroallergens that cause allergic diseases by region, regularly presenting its results to the Hydrometeorological Service Agency by the International Center for Molecular Allergology;

posting on the appropriate website and informing through other sources about data on the composition and scale of seasonal distribution of aeroallergens along with information about environmental pollution.

By 1 April 2024, an electronic register of patients suffering from allergic diseases will be created and put into practice.
