Mass Food Poisoning Reported at Kindergarten in Ferghana Region

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A case of mass food poisoning has been reported at State Preschool Educational Institution No. 7 in the village of Kiziltepa, Altyaryk District, according to the press service of the Regional Department of Preschool and School Education.

Preliminary information indicates that 13 children required medical assistance and were hospitalized. The kindergarten’s activities have been temporarily suspended.

The Ministry of Health, the Committee for Sanitary and Epidemiological Wellbeing and Public Health, and other relevant authorities are conducting a comprehensive investigation to determine the causes of the incident and prevent similar cases in the future.
