MASHAV conducts two courses in Uzbekistan during March 2011
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Seminars on Artificial Insemination and Substitute Milk for calves are organized together with Uzbek Association of Cattle Breeders. The events were organized on 14-21 March 2011.

Israeli experts Dani Gilad and Hagay Levi will introduce Uzbek farmers and specialists with modern methods of artificial insemination which increase number of cow pregnancies. The second key subject of the seminars is substitute milk for calves raising. This product has all necessary elements and is much cheaper then natural milk, which can increase profit of farmers and reduce number of days to feed a calf.

The seminar was opened in Tashkent region on 15 March with participation of Israeli ambassador Dr. Hillel Newman and Hokim of Yukori-Chirchik district Mr. Atemov. Farmers from all regions of Uzbekistan will have possibility to gain new Israeli methods of cattle breeding; the seminars will take place in Ferghana valley, Bukhara and Samarkand.

Israeli embassy in Tashkent said that the second group of seminars devoted to social adaptation of children with disabilities, is organized by Uzbek Republican Centre for Social Rehabilitation of Children and MASHAV.

Israeli experts Mrs. Tatiana Farkash and Mrs.Tatiana Yossfin give trainings on social work with such children, family problems and adaptation of the children to society. The trainings will take place in Tashkent and Samarkand from 15 to 21 March 2011.
