Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Masdar from the UAE will build a 300 MW solar power plant and a 75 MW electricity storage system in Kashkadarya region.

On 15 March, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a resolution on the implementation of this project.

Masdar won the tender to build the solar power plant in May 2023.

The company created Nur Kashkadarya Solar PV LLC to implement the project on the basis of public-private partnership.

Foreign investment in the project will amount to US$250.5 million.
