Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Today, on 15 December, the winners of tenders for the construction and operation of 3 solar photovoltaic stations with a total capacity of 500 MW in Bukhara, Namangan and Khorezm regions were determined.
As a result of tenders:
MASDAR won a tender for the construction of a 250 MW plant in Bukhara region with an offer of 3,044 US cents per kilowatt-hour of electricity produced. It is important to note that this is the first project in Uzbekistan to be implemented with a 62 MW Electricity Storage System (BESS).
GD Power - Powerchina has been selected as the winner for the construction of a 150 MW photovoltaic plant in Namangan region with a bid of 4,828 US cents per kilowatt-hour of electricity generated.
Voltalia has been selected as the winner for the construction of a 100 MW photovoltaic plant in Khorezm region with a bid of 2,888 US cents per kilowatt-hour of electricity generated.
