Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Vietnamese-Japanese international holding Mareven Food Holdings intends to create the largest production complex in the Angren FEZ. This was reported by the press service of the FEZ "Angren".

The goal of the project is to organize the production of instant pasta under the Rollton, Big-Bon brand, pasta using a special technology (egg, with olive oil, rice), soft drinks, as well as dry and liquid sauces / mixes, dry and canned vegetables according to a special cold drying and pasteurization technologies. As a result, over 800 new jobs will be created for the population of the Tashkent region.

On 27 September 2022, the Directorate of the Angren FEZ held a meeting with the General Director of the holding’s subsidiary in Kazakhstan, Mareven Food Tyan-Shan LLP, Bernard Vavrjin. During the meeting, a memorandum of understanding was signed between the Directorate and the Holding on the implementation of the project for the construction of the Production and Logistics Complex in the Angren Free Economic Zone.

The project provides for the creation of a new subsidiary, Mareven Food Pamir, with an investment of $125 million, the project will be implemented in several stages during the period 2023-2031.
