Manchester City Player of Season Shortlist Khusanov

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Manchester City defender and Uzbekistan national team player Abdukodir Khusanov has been included in the final three contenders for the club’s Player of the Season award in England, the club announced after publishing the final shortlist based on season results.

Midfielder Nico O’Reilly and winger Jeremy Doku were also named among the final nominees. All players in the squad initially participated in the voting process, after which three main candidates were selected for the award.

The club noted that Khusanov had previously been named Player of the Month three times for Manchester City, receiving the recognition in February 2025 as well as in January and March 2026. These performances were cited as one of the factors contributing to his inclusion among the final candidates for the season-long individual award.

The Uzbekistan international now competes for the club’s top individual honor for the entire season. Fans are able to participate in the voting process through Manchester City’s official platforms.
