Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 3 August this year, at around 00:05 am, employees of the Road Traffic Safety Administration (RDSA) of the 1st detachment of Samarkand region, a group for ensuring quarantine measures and employees of the State Veterinary Service stopped the transportation of 500 kg of inedible meat products.

During the stop and inspection of the Cobalt vehicle moving in Amonkot facility in Urgut district, meat of unknown origin was found in the luggage compartment. These 500 kg of meat were taken out without proper documents, violating veterinary and sanitary requirements. 

Inedible meat products will be destroyed accordingly. The driver is currently under investigation.
