Ravil Mamedov was the hero of his team when he struck a hattrick with goals in the 12th, 14th and 33rd minutes, Bernama reported.

The other goals were scored by (23rd and 39th min) and Nariman Nasurlaev (32nd min) while Malaysia B’s goals came from Mohd Sybrie Shamsuddin (16th min) and Mohd Herwan Pami (37th min)

In the women’s match, Uzbekistan beat Iran 5-2 to take third place.

The fifth place went to Thailand which beat Malaysia ’B’ 4-0.

The women’s final between Kazakhstan and Malaysia ’A’ for the Raja Permaisuri Bainun Cup will be played at noon tomorrow while the men’s final between Malaysia ’A’, represented by Sapura, and defendi ng champion Iran will be played two hours later for the Sultan Azlan Shah Cup.
