Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works presents products in Uzbekistan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
The Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works OJSC (MMK), one of the largest enterprises of the Russian steel sector accounting for about 20% of all steel products sold on the Russian market, is taking part in UzBuild, Uzbekistan’s building and interiors exhibition.
As earlier reported, UzBuild exhibition opened in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, on 9 March 2010. The exhibition will last till 12 March.
MMK said it is presenting large number of products, including special iron, hot-rolled and cold-rolled sheets, and others.
The Russian company said its products are highly demanded in dynamically developing in Uzbekistan. Currently, the country carries out wide-scale construction of new objects and reconstruction of existing ones.
MMK said it is interested in the construction market of the largest Central Asian country. The company said over quarter of all exports to the CIS states fell to share of Uzbekistan in 2009. At the same time, the company plans to increase sales to the Uzbek market.
