Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- During a visit to Italy, a delegation of enterprises from the leather and footwear industry of Uzbekistan, led by the chairman of the Uzcharmsanoat association, Fakhriddin Boboev, got acquainted with the activities of the Industry 4.0 Competence Center - MADE, created by the Italian Ministry of Economic Development.

MADE specializes in creating digital and sustainable enterprises for Italian industry, training and retraining qualified specialists. The Center also acts as a technical consultant for companies during their digital transformation and transition to a “smart” factory. More than 90 training and coworking centers located on an area of 2500 sq.m. help to build a customized smart factory taking into account the requirements of the enterprise.

During the visit to the technology center, members of the delegation were informed about the services provided to industrial enterprises here. In particular, there was a presentation of practical work on design, financing, personnel training, and implementation of scientific achievements at the plant.

Chairman of the Uzcharmsanoat association F. Boboev discussed with the leadership of the Center the issues of introducing MADE 4.0 experience at enterprises of Uzbekistan. An agreement was reached to start a retraining program for Uzbek specialists under the Center’s educational program. Personnel training will be carried out using express methods. This will allow us to prepare specialists who are flexible to rapidly changing and developing technologies.

During the negotiations, the potential for cooperation in the field of digital transformation at enterprises in our country was discussed. In this regard, the experience of the MADE 4.0 center is that many Italian companies have implemented effective digitalization projects in cooperation with the Center.

In addition, agreements were reached between MADE and the Uzcharmsanoat association in the field of logistics.
