Madad’s net revenue in 2010 tops 756.12 million soums
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Net revenue from service sales of Madad insurance agency grew from 640.147 million soums in 2009 to 756.13 million soums in 2010, the annual report, published in local media, said.

The prime cost of the realized services fell from 684.358 million soums in 2009 to 359.74 million soums in 2010, the accounting balance of the company said. Gross income from service sales made up 396.39 million soums against gross loss of 44.21 million soums in 2009.

According to audited accounting balance, the expenses of the company rose from 318.657 million soums in 2009 to 766.772 million soums in 2010.

Madad received net loss for 188.082 million soums in 2010 against net income for 5.508 billion soums in 2009, the annual report said.

Fixed assets of the company slightly slipped from 1.259 billion soums in 2009 to 1.247 billion soums in 2010. The capital investments grew from 805.359 million soums to 941.433 million soums in the reporting period.

The charter capital of Madad made up 2.1 billion soums. Reserve capital rose to 251.126 million soums in 2010 (157.657 million soums in 2009). Insurance reserves reached 666.712 million soums from 504.151 million soums in 2009.

The annual report said that the company rendered insurance service for 152 billion soums in 2010, which is up by 21.6% year-on-year. The company inked 13,028 insurance agreements in the reporting period.

The company paid insurance payouts on 29 agreements for 20.4 million soums, which makes up 76.5% from 2009 level. The company handed over liabilities on 31 agreements for 10.1 billion soums to re-insurance.

Joint-stock company, agency for insurance protection of private entrepreneurs and small businesses Madad was established by the President regulation No 1207 dated 26 July 1995 and Cabinet Council's regulation No 292 dated 26 July 1995 and has its subsidiaries in the Republic of Karakalpakstan and other regions.

Principal shareholders of Madad are National Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Commercial Bank Microcreditbank, Uzpromstroybank, Paxtabank, Trustbank, State Properties Commitee, Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Associations of Farm and Business Women as well as a number of foreign companies.
