The ministry said that London Games champion and three time Olympic Games gold medalist Artur Taymazov received five-room flat in the center of Tashkent. He also received US$150,000 prize money and car Chevrolet Malibu.
Bronze medalists of London Games Rishod Sobirov and Abbos Attoev became owners of three-room flats in Tashkent. They received Lacetti cars and US$50,000 each.
Uzbek athletes, who finished in top 8, received prize money for US$5,000 each. Among them are boxers Jasurbek Latipov, Fazliddin Gaipnazarov, Elshod Rasulov, Uktam Rakhmanov, cyclist Sergei Lagutin, free style wrestlers Qurbon Qurbonov, Ihtiyor Navruzov, canoeist Vadim Menkov, judokas Ramziddin Saidov and Dilshod Choriev, athletes Svetlana Radzivil, Husnuddin Norbekov, taekwondo fighters Natalya Mamatova, weight lifters Ruslan Nuriddinov and Ivan Efrimov and swimmer Kirill Pankov.
A group of coaches and athletes, who participated at London Olympic and Paralympic Games also received prize money.
