Uzavtosanoat official said spare parts and components of Matiz M-300 will be launched in several enterprises of automobile industry.

GM Uzbekistan plans to launch production of Matiz M-300 mini-car in the third quarter of 2010, the representative of Uzavtosanoat said. The cost of the project is US$124.445 million.

The capacity of the plant is 50,000 cars a year, of which 20,000 will be exported, Uzavtosanoat said. The project will be financed due to loan of Uzavtosanoat and own resources of GM Uzbekistan.

As earlier reported, the Uzbek President Islam Karimov said that GM Uzbekistan will be only producer of Matiz M-300.
