Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The National Agency for Perspective Projects (NAPP) announced on 1 November that it has revoked the licenses of the insurance company Omad Sug’urta.
The license, issued to the company under No. 033072 for conducting general insurance activities across several classes, will be annulled as of 2 November 2024.
The agency emphasized that Omad Sug’urta is required to fulfill its obligations under previously signed insurance contracts.
Previously, in December 2023, the company’s license was suspended for 10 days, and in September 2024, NAPM fined the insurer 76.5 million soums and again suspended its license until identified deficiencies were addressed.
Founded in June 2019, Omad Sug’urta offered all types of general insurance except life insurance and had branches throughout Uzbekistan.
