According to the law “On automobile roads” from 2 October 2007, Uzavtoyol develops and implements state programmes on development of automobile roads of general use, determining perspectives of development and improvement roads network.

In May 2011, after studying execution of the law in Uzavtoyol system, the committee adopted decision on further improving efficient work in this direction. In current session, the committee discussed implementation of the decision, creation of new jobs and execution of the presidential resolution “On speeding up development of infrastructure, transport and communication construction in 2011-2015” from 21 December 2010.

The event was attended by MPs, representatives of ministries, departments, organizations and administrations of several regions, experts, etc.

Chairperson of Uzavtoyol Murodillo Abdullaev said that the company and its structures carried out works on construction, repair and maintenance of roads for 453.7 billion soums in nine months of 2012, which grew by 53.4% year-on-year.

In line with the resolution “On speeding up development of infrastructure, transport and communication construction in 2011-2015”, this year it is planned to construct and reconstruct 328 km of roads.

It was said that the company created 357 new jobs in nine months of 2012 as the planned figure was executed with 19.8% surplus.

The participants noted several shortages in the work of the company and recommendations were developed to eliminate them.
