During the meeting, the sides considered issues of cooperation between Uzbekistan and Latvia and trade-economic relations.

"Latvia sees Uzbekistan as a key cooperation partner in Central Asia with great prospects, therefore we wish to boost development of economic and parliamentary cooperation," Solvita Aboltina said.

The delegation of Uzbekistan also met members of Commission on budget and economic reforms, Commission on industry, construction and trade, and Commission on environment and regional policy.
