It was underlined that the state budget was executed with surplus in the first six months of 2014.
The session underlined that industrial output of Uzbekistan grew by 8.1%, agriculture production – 6.9%, construction works – 17.4%. The growth was recorded in such areas as machinery and metal processing, construction materials production, light and food industries, etc.
Within the programme of creating jobs and ensuring employment of population, Uzbekistan created over 506,400 new jobs in the reporting period of 2014, of which 303,200 fell to share of rural areas.
It was said that the state budget paid great attention to social sphere, including financing of education, healthcare and social protection, payment of salaries, pensions and stipends, as well as allowances.
The session considered reports of State Tax Committee, Uzkimyosanoat and Uzpakhtasanoat on payment of taxes.
At the meeting, the participants shared their recommendations on further improving use of budget resources and executing of the laws. The committee adopted the corresponding decision at the end of the session.
