The document was prepared within implementation of the Concept on further deepening democratic reforms and forming civil society in the country.

The draft law is directed at expanding participation of businesses and citizens in investment processes, creating additional stimulus and efforts to investments into modernization and re-equipment of production capacities, as well as expanding methods of stimulating investments, protection of rights and property of investors.

The draft law will become important document to stimulate private investments and help efficiently realize state policy in investment sphere, the press service of the Legislative Chamber said.

The new document includes new articles on regulating investments at realization of investment projects, stimulation of investment activities. The articles on objects and subjects of investment activities, rights of investors, investment funds, centralized and non-centralized investments and others were improved.

The draft law was discussed at over 10 events, which were attended by all political parties and MPs Groups from Ecologic Movement of Uzbekistan, experts and scholars.

MPs passed the law and will be directed to Senate of Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan for approval.
