MPs noted that the agreement will help to attract Japanese investments into economy of Uzbekistan and guarantee rights of the Uzbek investors in Japan.
Foreign Affairs Minister of Uzbekistan Vladimir Norov and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Uzbekistan Sutomi Hiraoka signed an agreement on liberalization, encouragement and protection of investments between Uzbekistan and Japan on 15 August.
The agreement includes full and detailed regulations on liberalization, encouragement and protection of investments. The document became another step in strengthening and boosting investment relations between two states. It is expected that it will contribute to strengthening of economic cooperation between the countries.
